Sales Closing Techniques – Moving and Influencing People

If you’re seriously considering moving someone and really influencing them through the power of persuasion and your sales closing techniques, you have to understand how to do that.

You don’t have the way move anyone, or you will not ever be successful with that if you don’t have a relationship with them. The fact is that unless they trust and respect you as a person, they will not let you into their world. They will not let you into their privacy and they will not lead you into their own beliefs and understanding of the world sufficiently enough so that you can influence them. As a salesman, it is your job to influence the people that you’re working with. After all, a buying decision is a decision where people decide to buy something because they are influenced by what you said and how you said it.

In order to be able to really influence people in a lasting way, you have to make sure that you give them enough proof and enough food for thought so that they are stimulated and they keep thinking about what you said. The more they think about it, the more logical it should be to them that they really should buy from you. At this point, you can not and probably even shouldn’t use sales closing techniques. At this point they will just love whatever you whatever you have to offer because they will feel deep inside themselves that this is a good thing to do.

Now, if you are trying to move people as a salesman, the one thing you need to have is integrity. If you don’t have the integrity and you lie to people, soon your persuasion powers will really go weak and you will not have any way to influence anyone ever again. The fact is that people don’t talk about good things, but did they talk about bad things a lot. So while using techniques like sales closing techniques for instance you have to understand that you maintain the integrity because if they catch you lying or being two-faced, what is going to happen is there going to tell everyone and their mother about it, and you’re going to have a really hard time getting anyone to do anything for you.

So remember sales closing techniques are important but they are not absolutely necessary if you have a relationship with your prospects and if you really have the integrity and the honesty to tell them the truth.
