There is a common misconception in marketing that if you give your customers or clients promotional gifts that they can use, they will remember who you are and what you do because the more often they use the gift, the more they see the name, logo and brand that is printed on it. To an extent that is true but there is a difference between giving your customers something they can use as opposed to something they will use.

The concept of giving potential and existing customers promotional gifts is not new. 3) In society today, we like nice things and to be seen using something cheap and tacky is not the image most of us want to create.
