Have you ever wished you had 8 arms like an octopus or at least a clone? Embrace these 3 business owner skills that can give you more hours in the day plus can make you feel more energetic at the end of the day.

One of the key skills of being a successful business owner is to DELEGATE tasks to others that do not need YOU to do them. If you are a perfectionist and want to do everything yourself, you can develop your business owner skills by first explaining to the person taking over the task exactly how you want it done, trusting that it won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t get done exactly how you want it done, and then let it go. Add these skills to your business owner toolbox. First, write down what tasks do not need your expertise and that costs you more for you to do them than for you to pay someone else to do them. Second, assign a competent person or company to do the job to your satisfaction. Finally, make use of the ‘extra’ time and energy you’ve created for yourself!

The next two business owner skills are also a MUST. Always be learning, growing, and implementing into your mlm business new knowledge. EDUCATION is one of the keys to growing a massive downline. Learning and using a proven BLUEPRINT in your home-based business is crucial. All successful business owners use these skills and will tell you that if they stop learning, they become stale. Here’s where most people drop the ball and fail to APPLY what they’ve learned. If you just sit and soak up your education but never implement it into your business, consider your business just a hobby. Business owners who use these skills are truly serious about building a towering downline, and they APPLY their education into their businesses. Expand your mind, blast out of your comfort zone, and explore new territory. You will discover that you can do more than you ever thought possible.

Today’s pace is super-sonic. It’s easy to get distracted whether we’re at work, home or play. The third of today’s skills for you, the owner, of your business is F.O.C.U.S., which is one of the secrets to every 6-figure annual income home-based business owner’s success. F.O.C.U.S. stands for Follow One Course Until Successful. Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, coined that acronym, and if you stick to it, you will reap the rewards of FOCUS. Don’t try to do everything at once. Focus on one course until you are successful with it, and you will be applying one of the most important business owner skills there is. Master one skill before moving to the next. Master prospecting, then closing, and then doing your own presentation. Master article writing before tackling press releases. Implement these skills as the owner of your business until they become second nature. Be focused until you can teach someone else how to do it.
